(1-4-19) Jordan Lockwood (27) of Celina has been indicted on a felony charge of assault and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest. Lockwood is accused of assaulting a member of the Celina EMS Squad on December 26th.
The indictment alleges that Lockwood was bleeding and needed medical attention when the EMS arrived. Celina Police officers and Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies were also at the scene when Lockwood was placed in a “reeves sleeve” after being combative in order to help keep him under control during his trip to an area hospital. During the incident a member of the rescue squad reported that Lockwood had struck him in the right eye and kicked him above his right knee.
Lockwood is currently being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility on $50,000 bond.
