Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer, Auglaize & Van Wert at their Golf for Kids Sake event were able to raise $6,000 to put towards the various youth mentoring programs that Big Brothers Big Sisters offers in Mercer, Auglaize & Van Wert Counties.

The men’s winning team included Rick Schwieterman, Brent Lefeld, Paul Volbert and Aaron Wourms. The women’s winning team included Deb Kramer, Treva Fortkamp, Lynn Darby and Cindy Huelsman. The Co-Ed winning team included Justin Bruggeman, John Hewitt, Kathy Kuhn and Steve Kuhn.

Next year’s event is scheduled for July 12, 2019  at the Mercer County Elks.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is able to offer mentors to over 300 children throughout Mercer, Auglaize & Van Wert Counties and currently need BIGS in our One-on-one Program and Lunch Club. This school year they are starting a Lunch Club with Coldwater Schools and St. Marys City Schools.
