(7-9-18) On June 30, 2018, between 11:30 AM and 11:55AM, a report was made to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office of a male acting suspicious near the bike path that runs between St Anthony Road and Fleetfoot Road in Butler Township. The suspicious male was reported being nude walking the area of the bike path. Deputies responded to the area, but the male was not located. The male was described as a white male between 20 to 30 years old, clean shaven, with sandy brown hair, reported as being medium build.
Since the initial report additional sightings have been reported, Deputies have responded to the additional reports, but the male was not located. The male is believed to be riding a dark colored bicycle and carrying a backpack. The male has been observed during early morning, and mid-day hours. Sheriff Jeff Grey wants to make the community aware of this suspicious activity. Sheriff Grey urges anyone encountering this male to call law enforcement for assistance. Deputies have also stepped up patrol in the area of the bike path. Anyone with information as to the identity or observing this male are urged to contact the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at 419-586-7724.
Mercer County Outlook 
On June 8th, around 12 noon, I did see someone out there who I was not familiar with. He was sleeping in the middle of the path, his bike was beside him. He was clothed. The sheriff did respond, cause when I was running back, 2 police officers were out there with him.
