(6-22-18) The Shanes Crossing Historical Society has added a new item from Steve Thompson who rescued and restored a stain glass window from the Grace United Methodist Church.
The church was built in 1924 at a cost of approximately $27,000 and was demolished in 2005. Thompson donated the window, his time and labor to install the window at the Rockford Village Hall and Museum.
*All donations are greatly appreciated in order to preserve Rockford history.
