Grand Lake Health System in conjunction with the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Department hosted the National Drug Take Back Day at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 28. The sheriff’s office collected 40 pounds of unneeded prescription drugs during the event.
There are several drug take back events scheduled throughout 2018 at various locations. Also, the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Department located at 1051 Dearbaugh Avenue, Wapakoneta takes old, unused, or unwanted prescription medications at any time; they have a box located in their lobby.
