Library Gives Mineral Presentation At Celina Intermediate School

(1-22-18) Tony Rotondo visited the Celina Intermediate School to give a mineral presentation to approximately 200 students in Mrs. Braun and Mr. Sherrill’s 6th grade science classes. The students have been studying mineral properties and their uses.  As a culminating activity, Tony brought 20 minerals for the students to examine and try to identify. He also involved them in several activities showing practical uses of minerals Mrs. Braun is shown above with several of her students participating in one of the activities showing how some minerals conduct electricity.
